Internet Marketing for the Newcomer

With the popularity of the World Wide Web expanding around the Globe, More and more people will try their hand at making a living on line with Internet Marketing. Whether, it’s to break away from a ‘Dead End’ job or get a way from a Boss you dislike! Or perhaps a single parent with a need to supplement an income. Retirees wishing to add to their pensions! or full blown marketers setting out to build a Million Dollar Internet Business.

One thing for certain, they all have one thing in common! A desire for financial independence. To being financially secure as to not to have to worry about those monthly bills. To be able to live a lifestyle any where they choose. Live on the Beach, High in the Mountains, London, Paris or Rome! They world really is your oyster if you are able to make a success of creating an income On-Line.

Anyone can start an Internet Marketing Business. There no real huge investment requiring bank loans, No buildings to maintain, no staff, and office costs etc. All you kneed is a computer, telephone line and an Internet connection.

Simple! Not quite! A word of caution. If it was that easy we would all be Internet Millionaires. The subject of Internet Marketing is a very broad one indeed one of the most covered topics today. And it’s one that I will not enter into here. But Internet marketing is just that: ‘Marketing on the Internet’.

When starting out, it’s important not to let your enthusiasm, trap you into exchanging one set of restrictions for yet another! Set a clear plan of the lifestyle to wish to have, and how much time you intend to spend on achieving it. After all you don’t want to spend 12 hours a day in front of a computer making money for the sake of it! Keep you reasons for making money with Internet Marketing in the forefront of your mind.

The whole idea of making money on line by harnessing the power of Internet technology, is to reduce the amount of time creating the necessary wealth to sustain an existing lifestyle or to fulfil the ambition of a better one! If successful, the reward is the freedom to enjoy the rewards and other pursuits, such as family, hobbies, and sports etc. Things that add to the quality that makes life worth while

Have some discipline! Create a time plan. Don’t spend all of it in front of the computer. You will not obtain all the knowledge that you kneed as if by magic or willpower alone! Take time out to read the information that you feel will assist your business. Also, and most important, do not spend the time on line at the expense of the precious time usually spent with friends and family. After all you don’t want to gain a business and lose what you already have!

Just like any “Off-Line” Business. Take time to investigate all the options. What suits you best? Try to develop a business plan!. Create some sort of a feasibility study! Keep your ultimate goal in mind by all means, but don’t try to run before you can walk. An online Internet Marketing business is just like any ‘Off-Line’ Business, whether it is Part Time or Full Time. It is still a ‘Business’ and can be wildly successful beyond you wildest dreams or be a miserable failure.

Take into consideration you technical knowledge, marketing experience, your strengths and weakness. Should you begin by selling a product or join a ‘turnkey’ affiliate programme? Decide on the amount of time to spend on your business? For the things your not sure of, there is a multitude of “How To” products out there for you to take advantage of. (That’s a huge market in itself). Some are good, some bad, some are free and others come with a price tag. But they all sing the same song, perhaps to a different tune.

But whatever you find, take the time to read and absorb what you have learnt! Trust me on this one. I know for certain I am not the only one, that in my enthusiasm to get started, rushed out, credit card in hand, and downloaded a bunch of “How To” products, only to read a paragraph or two before another offer caught my eye, and the “Order Now” button was clicked, yet again!! There were also occasions when I discovered that I purchased stuff I had already downloaded months before and not taken the time to read!! And they were all sitting on my Hard Drive gathering cyber dust. How stupid is that? Don’t make the same mistake. Have patients. More haste less speed.

One you have decided on what project or programme you are going to promote. Stick to it! Exhaust every avenue within you knowledge range, time and budget until it becomes either the success you are looking for or proves to be the wrong vehicle for you. Either way, you will learn something along the way, and saved a bunch of money and time with this philosophy. Internet marketing is exciting, challenging, and sometimes confusing… Internet marketing is not easy, but it also does not have to be difficult. Stick to one product or programme at a time. Don’t make the mistake of diluting your efforts by running after too many projects at one time. Don’t spread your self too thin. A moving glass will never burn the paper!

Steer clear of the “Get Rich in 48 Hours….without lifting a finger” schemes. There is no such thing as a “Free Lunch” and nothing in this world is obtained without some effort! The pockets of the promoters of these “Get Rich” Schemes are well lined, and he Internet is paved with the dreams of the folks who rushed out and signed up for them. Ask you self, would you have fallen for this or that scheme if you had read it in your local paper? The Internet is no different. than the real world that we live in.

One final thought; Try to acquire the necessary tools to make your Internet Marketing business a success. Set out achievable goals. – Don’t overload yourself. Take small steps within certain time frames. Work your way through one step at a time. Don’t move on until you have reached this goal. Build on your successes one step at a time. This way you build a strong foundation and sustain the growth of your business to achieve your dreams Try to step out of your skin. Pretend that you are hiring yourself- like a new employee that has to learn the ropes. As a boss, you wouldn’t unfairly overload a newcomer starting out in the Internet Marketing business – so don’t do it to yourself!

Last but not least; Dare to dream! Believe in your dreams! Believe in yourself! Your future is too important. Take the time to get to the top.

Identity Theft – You Can Prevent It

free  Comments Off on Identity Theft – You Can Prevent It
May 012022

By now everybody has heard of some horror story about identity theft from TV shows or magazine articles. In the popular culture, references of identity theft are found in the novels and movies, notably Frederick Forsyth’s novel, “The day of the Jackal” and the 1995 movie “The Net.” In real life, the Identity Theft Resource Center (http://www.idtheftcenter.org) reports 8.9 millions identity theft victims in 2006.

So, what is an identity theft? An identity theft occurs when somebody steals vital pieces of personal information, e.g. your social security, credit card numbers, etc. and uses that information for financial gains by taking your identity. The most common form of identity theft involves credit card and mortgage frauds. But it can also be used for vicious crimes like drug dealings, terrorism, etc.

You may be surprised to know that many minor identity thefts are committed by someone you know. So, don’t make it an easy job for a person to steal your personal information from your wallet, checkbook, etc. Avoid leaving things containing your personal information lying around for others to have an easy access to that information.

Shred, shred, shred. Buy a cheap paper shredder from an office supply store and shred all your paid bills, used check books, etc. before tossing those into the trash. Put aside 30 minutes every Saturday morning for shredding anything that contained your personal information and you intend to trash. Make it a habit.

Never give out your personal information like your social security number; birth date etc. over the phone when the call you received is unsolicited. Your financial institutions have those information and they will not ask you for that. Sometimes, for verification purposes, they make ask you the last four digits of your social security number.

Don’t pay to get anybody to get a copy of your credit report. Because of a congressional mandate, all three-credit report bureaus will give you a copy of your credit report for free every year. Go to AnnualCreditreport.com to obtain your free credit report every year from TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. While obtaining your free credit report, these bureaus will push some paid services. Just ignore those.

Don’t get your free credit reports from the three bureaus all at the same time. Then you have to wait one year before you can get your reports again for free. In the mean time, some unwanted stuff may show up in your report. Get your free report every four months from each bureau. If you are using a PDA, password protect it to prevent others from accessing it.

Phishing is a popular method to steal sensitive information for identity theft purposes. Don’t be a phishing victim. Avoid clicking on any link that comes to your way through e-mails or IM. The e-mail will disguise itself coming from your financial institutions (your bank or PayPal accounts) and will urge you to click a link to verify your accounts or resort to such other tricks. Sometimes, it can be outright threatening. If you click the link you will end up in the thief’s website. And if you enter your user name and password, the thief will have enough information to log into your actual account.

Open online accounts for all your credit cards and financial accounts. Online accounts are not only convenient for faster bill paying, paperless transactions, etc.; they also help monitor your accounts frequently, instead of waiting for the monthly bill or statement to arrive. Monitor your accounts online every week and if you see any suspicious charges, checks, etc., call you banks immediately. Also setup e-mail based account alerts, if available, to alert you when charges are made to your accounts.

If possible, avoid putting your outgoing mails containing bills and checks in your mailboxes for easy access by a thief. Drop them in mailboxes located in the post office or street corners. Better yet, setup online bill payment with your bank and avoid the snail mail for bill paying.

You also need to keep your computer safe. Thieves can get into computers through spyware and unsecured wireless or network connections. Use anti-spyware programs and turn on your Windows default personal firewall program. To prevent viruses infecting your computer, use an anti-virus program. Setup accounts for each user of your computer and ask them to use strong passwords that include a combination of letters and numbers.

Another way to prevent anybody, including you, from opening any credit in your name is to freeze your credit. This option is not available in all states. If it is available in your state and you opt for this option, you need to lift the block before you allow anybody, e.g. an employer for a new job, creditor for a car loan, etc., to access your credit information. Though it is almost like a foolproof system to prevent identity theft, it is the also the most inconvenient method.

How to Breathe Life into your Living Room

free  Comments Off on How to Breathe Life into your Living Room

As the name suggests, a living room is where you spend most part of your daily routine life. The most important functions in a home like dining, recreating, entertaining guests and watching television etc., are all, usually, hosted by the living room. Therefore, it becomes all the more imperative that you maintain your living room and make it as good as possible with ideal decoration. Now, decoration may take the shape of arranging, re-arranging or buying new furniture for your living room. It may also take the shape of entirely re-doing the architecture of the living room. But this is a slightly expensive and long-term plan that may or may not work.

For the sake of brevity, this article will focus on dabbling with your furniture in order to breathe some life into your living room. The kind of furniture used in the living room depends a great deal on the requirements of the family. For instance, a home with kids may have entirely different needs while those with mostly grown ups in the family will value the grace and looks of Amish made furniture.

Fortunately, you don’t have to start from scratch in order to make your living room a living entity. The furniture already placed in your living room, if seems ugly, can be refurbished or even re-arranged to give a brand new look to the room. Living room can be compartmentalized by some strategic measures that may include separation by cabinets, shelves or even clever flooring and different paint patterns for the walls. The idea is to have optimum utilization of space in the living room.

You can also experiment with different types of furniture for different requirements. For instance, Amish furniture could be used to show your sense of appreciation towards craftsmanship. Remember, your living room also doubles up as the place to entertain your guests and business delegates. And carefully crafted Amish Oak furniture might just land you a lucrative long-term contract! Wicker furniture may also be used to lend variety in the living room. Plastic furniture is easier to handle.

Always leave some free space to allow your living room and other furniture to breathe and also not look cluttered. If you have lots of extra stuff and find it hard to store small items, the furniture items with storage units should be your first choice. Decorative items like lamps and photo-stand etc. must not occupy too much space. The motto is to beautify the room with as little articles as possible. The decorative items must be unique and not too many!

Leather sofas are always easy to maintain and also add the requisite gloss to the living room. The paint of the living room should not give out the feeling of gaudiness. Evergreen light colors should be used in the living room. All the experimentation should be done in other rooms of your home. Always keep your living room free from dirt by periodic cleaning and dusting. The stains on the furniture should be removed without delay. The stains may become permanent if not treated immediately. As far as possible, keep the kids away from the delicate items in your living room.

A living room is a window to your personality. It is up to you how your present your living room to the outside world and to your family members.

Eat “Gut’s and Grease” For Freakish Strength & Vitality

I hate diets. I hate people who talk and teach about diets even more.

If you can’t tell, I’m a bit angry and confused. For thousands upon thousands of years we as a race of humans have walked the earth in extraordinary health living WITH nature and sharing of her abundance. No diets, just eating.

Instinctual Eating

Food, water and shelter were all provided by her… all our needs were met. We were rugged, intelligent and extremely vital well into our older age. A strong example of this reality are the Hunzakut people of the Himalayas. This “lost race” of people, when interviewed by Renee Taylor in the 1906’s were found to:

· Live to 100 and 120 years of age in almost perfect physical condition and mental health… no weak and worthless elderly, like we find today.
· 100-year-old men were fathering children and held down strenuous full-time jobs… like moving 700 lb. boulders that have fallen from the mountains out of the road.
· Woman of almost 80 looked younger, felt better and are far more active than the average western woman of 40! I’m moving there for retirement! (4)

OK, I can hear you now… “But Elliott, I am not a primal man and aren’t we far better off today due to medical advances”.

My short answers are: Yes, you are a primal man. Today, our bodies are an exact expression of what our ancestors were over 100,000 years ago (2). It is believed that it takes about 100,000 years for the human genome to change 0.001 percent, so you and “Primal Man” are essentially the same (3).

And: No, we are not better off today with our so-called medical advances. There hasn’t been a cure discovered that doesn’t pose the same or worse risk by taking it, than the disease itself. Just listen to the list of side effects listed when you are watching the commercial with the old guys who urinate on themselves, as if wetting the bed is a disease!

Eat Guts and Grease

For too long we have been told by the “dietary dictocracts” and “poly-unsaturated puppets” to stay away from saturated fats, animal products and cholesterol. Today I am setting you free to stuff your face with the same “artery clogging” diet that Native American’s ate prior to The White Man landing on Plymouth Rock with bags of white flour and sugar. These ‘men of the land’ were rugged, super strong and vital… and ate tons of Guts and Grease.

The late Dr. Weston A. Price has documented the most comprehensive study ever, of the primal man and his diet / lifestyle in his groundbreaking book Nutrition & Physical Degeneration (1)

A short history… Dr. Price was a dentist in the late 1930’s, he began to notice that an increasing number of his patients were contracting dental maladies such as cavities and rotting teeth… don’t we all? And most notably, his younger patients were being born with what Dr. Price called “facial deformities”.

These ‘facial deformities’ have become commonplace since the 1930’s, they include: crowding of the teeth, crowding of facial features and, a narrowing of the palate and jaw. As well, Dr. Priced noticed an increased susceptibility to illness when these ‘deformities’ were present. (1)

Not only did Dr. Price notice that the physical structure of man was deteriorating but he also noted that the function of the mind and the body was wasting away.

“That modern man has been declining in physical fitness has been emphasized by many eminent sociologists and other scientists. That the rate of degeneration is progressively accelerating constitutes a cause for great alarm, particularly since this is taking place in spite of the advance that is being made in modern science along many lines of investigation.” (1)

So, like any sane, wealthy, doctor of the time… he set out to find groups of isolated “primitive” peoples through the world. Dr. Price wanted to discover what “Man” was truly intended to eat and how “Man” was truly intended to live.
In his travels not only did Dr. Price discover that “primitive peoples” were happier, healthier and more disease resistant but they were as tough as nails…

He was once observing a group of “primitive kids” playing in a stream of water in the middle of the winter while he and his colleges were freezing their butts off with their big winter parkas on!

The Native American’s lived for thousands of years completely isolated from “The White Man”. These folks have adapted to their given environments and have learned how to live WITH the land, not just on it.

The Indians of Canada and the Northern Regions

These folks lived in some cold weather! It was seventy below at some points. This meant that they were definitely not farmers and if you told them that you had to eat 7-12 servings of grains a day (food pyramid) they would put a hex on you!

They ate meat, meat and meat with some meat on the side. Every part of the animal was eaten. Of greatest importance were the organs of the animals that they ate. These wise people knew that it was in the organs that all of the potent nutrition resided… not in the lean meat. In fact if the meat wasn’t fatty enough it was fed to the dogs! (1)

Think about that the next time some puppet tells you to eat only lean meats and chicken breast.

There was no Colon Cancer observed amongst these people … so out the window goes the Meat = Colon Cancer Theory.

These were rugged and intelligent people.

“They lived in a country in which grizzly bears were common. Their pelts were highly prized and they captured many of them with baited pitfalls. Their knowledge of the use of the different organs and tissues of the animals for providing a defense against certain of the affections of the body which we speak of a degenerative diseases was surprising.” (1)

Their “Fad Diet” consisted of:

· Wild Animals Of The Chase – Bear, Moose, Deer, Caribou etc. These people were strong because the animals that they ate were strong. The wild game that served as a staple in the Native American’s diet were respected for their life-giving properties and lived off of the organic land before being sacrificed for human consumption. I wonder where that chicken nugget you had for lunch came from?

· Animal Organs – From the Rooter to the Tooter! The Natives knew that the most nutritionally potent parts of the animal meal were the organs. In fact when a kill was made, our savvy ancestors would immediately cut it open and eat the adrenal glands, liver, pancreas and heart first. All the other meat was either stored for later or given to the dogs… especially the despised lean-meat.

· Veggies – If they were in the stomach of the animal. Why waste valuable time and energy looking for veggies and cooking them when our friendly animals will do all the work for us. The animals are so kind that they were even willing to predigest the plant food for us. Primal man knew that meat was much more nutrient dense than grains and greens so he ate the animals who condensed all of the plant nutrition into tasty little bites.
· Sea Food – Fish, Fish Eggs and Sea Weed. Today our oceans are so polluted that it is nearly impossible to get your hands on some clean, untainted fish. So I don’t suggest dining out for sushi every evening. Fish oil is essential and should be a part of every man’s diet. Today our best bet is to consume a high quality Cod Liver Oil supplement.

These, like all of the people that Dr. Price studied were very healthy until they came into contact with “modernized” peoples. It has been noted that medical care and surgeries were almost unheard of amongst the folks living traditional lives but, were rampant among those who adopted the “White Man’s Ways”.

For you to regain your Primal Edge, and avoid sickness and surgeries, take a lesson from these people… Eat Real Food. I don’t care if your favorite athlete tells you that it will make you run faster, get bigger or hydrate you better than water, if it wasn’t here 10,000 years ago- don’t eat it. Powders and pills are for p+ssies, eat like a man!

10 tips for external search engine optimization.

free  Comments Off on 10 tips for external search engine optimization.
Apr 272022

This article will be an brief introduction to some of the more important optimization tips for external usage, which means, not the things to do on your webpage, but things like, the importants for links to your site and what you can do.

1. Thing to keep in mind
This is not really a tip, more a guideline, all the internal optimization is a good thing to do, but here is all the stuff that real matters, keep in minde this is about getting people to a speciffic destination, your website.

2. Adding your site to the big search engines.
This is not necessary, its is in fact a wast of time, as I have experienced. what will happen when your site is online, is you need other sites to link to you, then when google sees that, then it adds your site to its system, and bingo.

3. http://dmoz.org/
A good thing to do is to add your site to dmoz.org, aka. open directory project. I recently found that I have a website that could not get a pagerank, or it did, it had 0, the reason was that I forgot to add my site to dmoz.org, for some reason that helped.

4. External links
Here comes the most important part of Search engine optimization, links!! can’t be said enough, do what ever to get other sites to link to you.

5. Does bad external links exist?
No, not really, you can get irrelevant links, (people with a totally different subject) to link to you, but that does not matter, what could be bad is linkback, many places you make a deal with another webmaster to swap links, and if you have a nice product, lets say you sell SEO optimization tools, and then you swap links with an adult website, this could end up bad, cause google can see that link and may think that your site is also relevant to adult content, this is not recommented.

6. Getting links 1
One thing is that you could send out a request to other webmasters by email, trying to se if he/she would be interested in swapping links with your, but sending out 1000 email could get tough, so you could download my program ‘Mass-email-sender’ , its free to use.

7. Getting links 2
You could add your site to as many search engines and directories as possible, also hard work, can take a lot of time, I have a solution for this also, and yes its also free to use as much you’d like.

8. Getting links 3
An offencive approch could be to look at your competitors, to analyse stuff like, who is linking to them?, what makes them rank high in google? try looking in the tools section

9. Do not participate in link farms or link exchange programs.
Search engines consider link farms and link exchange programs as spam, as they have only one purpose – to artificially inflate a site’s link popularity, by exchanging links with other participants.

10. Some personale words before you go on optimizing.
While reading all these theory about getting visitors to your site, have your even thougth about how to keep your visitors?, or to make them come back? did you know that most of the visitors from google are just ‘suft through’ visitors, which means they look at your site for a few seconds, and if it is not interesing they go to the next site. what I’m meaing to say is, be carefull many people makes mistakes by only thinking ‘what does google want?’ instead of ‘what does my audience want? so make content for your visitors and only keep in mind optimization is a good thing.

The end.
This article was was a very shallow overview of the more important tips, stay tuned for my more indept articles on how to make websites link to you.

The Return of the Clothes Line

free  Comments Off on The Return of the Clothes Line
Apr 262022

The old-fashioned clothes line of our grandmother’s time may be due for a revival. The power blackouts of the past few summers have many Canadians thinking outside the box: in fact, they’re thinking outside… period.

A clothes line is a terrific contribution to energy savings – since the dryer is one of the most energy-hungry appliances in your home.

Besides, it seems a little foolish to pay for heat and wind when we can get it free… just outside the door.

The Best Things In Life Are Free

A clothes line is a terrific contribution to energy savings – since the dryer is one of the most energy-hungry appliances in your home.

Besides, why pay for heat and wind in a box… when we can get it free just outside the door? You’ll be startled how fast your items dry; on sunny windy days the first bits of laundry may be dry by the time you get the last items on the line – long before they would have been finished in the dryer. Sheets are especially quick-drying, with a lovely crisp texture!

A Long Season

The first warm days of spring – whether or not there’s snow on the ground – you can start enjoying your clothes line. When the snow flies, most homeowners bring in the clothes pegs for the season. Our grandmothers, of course, often used the clothes line year-round!

No ironing. It’s true: if you hang items carefully, you can fold them straight off the line. Voila… freshly pressed laundry in your basket! Sheets can be folded in thirds right on the line – making them easier to get them neatly in the basket. Some people prefer to give their towels a 5-minute tumble in the dryer to restore fluffiness; others love the rough spa texture of a line-dried cotton towel!

Miraculous Cleaning Power Of The Sun

Our grandmothers knew how to deal with stains: use the powerful bleaching effect of the sun. Many stains will fade or disappear – including unsightly yellowing that often plagues your white items. And nothing beats the incomparable clean scent of sun-dried laundry. For maximum drying benefit, align your clothesline on a north-south axis if possible.

“Airing Out”

Clotheslines are perfect for airing out duvets, quilts, tablecloths, and of course wool blankets and clothing. Sometimes items that have been in storage will just require a good dose of the cleaning effects of sun and wind to restore their freshness. And wool-eating moths hate sunlight and wind – the reason why there is a long tradition of hanging our winter blankets, rugs and clothing out for a good airing and brushing before storing away for the season.

The Right Stuff

Make sure your line is installed as sturdily as possible. If you’re lucky you will be able to string your line between two strong trees. Alternately, you can sink at least one post into concrete – attaching the other strong hook to your house (or a second post). Synthetic lines are strong and readily available. Measure carefully before you go shopping, and be sure to get the necessary hardware and pulleys for installation. While you’re at it, pick up a few line separators, and lots of clothespins. Another clever trick: if your set-up allows, pick up an inexpensive letter-style mailbox to keep your clothespins in. The box will keep your clothes pins dry and organized, and the newspaper hooks will each hold a line separator (those little two-wheel devices) – right where they’re handy.

Enjoy The View

Your clothes line will have you outdoors a little more; enjoy the look of fresh laundry snapping in the wind. Live in an area where clothes lines are frowned on? Remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder; consider beginning a conversation about how your community can walk a little more lightly on the planet – while discovering the retro joys of the old-fashioned clothes line.

Everyone will memorize something personal about Paris. I thought it would be a rich idea to start writing a brand new series of articles in which I would offer each time a motley of ideas: obscure sites to see, off-the-wall museums to visit, quaint shops to shop at, and other things to do (for free or for money) in Paris. Starting now!

Here is another article in this series.

Organ Music Anyone?

Notre Dame Cathedral is not just an awesome medieval work of art. Every Sunday at 4:30 PM the official organ player of the Cathedral sits at his keyboard, and fills the enormous structure with sounds from outer space. Anyone who attended these concerts will tell you that religious music takes a whole new meaning in this sanctified place. Goosebumps guaranteed. Notre Dame Cathedral is located on the Cite Island, at the Cite metro station. There is more about it on my Paris guide paris-eiffel-tower-news.com.

Get Me a Couscous for Free

At the “Les Fontaines” bar, the owner opens his kitchen and serves free couscous to all on Fridays and Saturdays. You are only required to order one drink per person, which is anyway desirable when you stuff yourself with semolina. “Les Fontaines” sits at 153 rue Saint-Maur, in the 11th district. The closest metro stations are “Belleville” and “Rue Saint-Maur”.

British and Celt Rock in Paris

In 30 years from now, people will talk about the Guinness Rock Tavern as this mythic British bar where to listen to live rock music while downing a Guinness Stout. A new band every night will entertain you from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am. I am still so thankful I didn’t live right above the place! Take the subway to the “Chatelet” station, and walk northwards to 31 bis rue des Lombards. That’s the place where it’s loud.

The Green Miles

That’s something so peculiar you won’t want to miss it. On top of the remnants of what used to be an inner railroad line, the City authorities have developed a 3-mile walkway which links the Bastille square to the Vincennes Woods, along the Daumesnil Avenue. Halfway between Bastille and Vincennes, the Reuilly Gardens offer a nice halt. There is no such walkway in any city I have ever visited. Access it from the “Bastille” subway station. You can see a few views of it at paris-eiffel-tower-news.com

Where Queen Marie-Antoinette Spent her Last Night

Queen Marie-Antoinette was beheaded during the French revolution in 1793. It is said her hair turned entirely white during the night before her execution. She was held captive at the Conciergerie Museum, a royal palace built on the Cite Island in the early 13th century. The medieval atmosphere penetrates your very soul along a visit which will lead you through the castle and its infamous cells. Free admission, and you keep your head on your shoulders. The address is 2 boulevard du Palais, on the Cite Island. The nearest metro station is “Cite”.

Each of these Parisian spots will spice up your trip to Paris. I often recommend the subscribers of Paris-Eiffel-Tower-News.com to get out of their comfort zone to soak in uncommon sights and bring them back home. Paris is best visited in a free-spirited way, outside the ‘channels’ built by travel guides. Not that the circuits they offer are uninteresting. But having lived some 25+ years in the French capital, I personally believe (and my friend photographer Angel Sanguinetti is of the same opinion) that there is a lot more to Paris than just the regular course served by reference guides. I urge you to try and dare new things. It will be more rewarding, and you will be in a position to recommend your own friends new best ways to discover Paris!
