Recently Reverend Jesse Jackson and Reverend Al Sharpton have struck a blow against freedom of speech by attacking radio host Don Imus for a brief, supposedly racial, comment. They made enough noise so that the “politically correct” media fired Imus.
First of all, I want to make it clear that I’m no fan of racism of any kind. I do, however, very strongly advocate free speech. With that in mind, let’s look at the issues.
While growing up fifty years ago, kids learned an old saying: “Sticks and stones might break my bones but names will never hurt me.” This was a way of telling the children of that era not to worry about what others say; worry about what they do. In many cases, today’s media act like words are more important than actions. This causes people not to be themselves and actually fear using words when in public. Jackson and Sharpton try to induce fear into predominantly white public speakers to make them refrain from words that the blacks themselves use without incident.
I’ve never listened to Don Imus, but from what I’ve heard about him, I’d probably classify him as somewhat of a “jerk,” for lack of a better word. Even jerks have the right to be heard. It seems the word he used that stirred so much controversy was “ho.” The strange thing is, I’ve never heard the word before in that context, and I’m sure that many other white people haven’t either. Since this word was coined in the black community, a lot of white people wouldn’t even have known what Imus meant. After Jackson and Sharpton got through with their campaigns, everyone now knows that “ho” is one of those words that can only be misused by blacks without invoking the wrath of Jackson’s organization, “Operation Push.”
If we live together in peace, ignore our differences, especially skin color, we live in an integrated society. Racial harmony is best kept by ignoring minor things. What Imus said was such a minor incident, that it should have been handled by listener protest, and should never have gotten national media coverage. Stirring up racial tension makes our “politically correct” media the real racist. Organizations like “Operation Push” are the racial antagonists in our society, constantly stirring up social anxiety. It seems that the biggest racists of all make it a point to use racism as a political platform from which they attain wealth and power. In that way, Jackson and Sharpton are much bigger racists than Imus.
When such big protests are waged over one word, the issue of free speech is what is really being attacked. Such campaigns are designed to make us fear the use of inappropriate words, this then leads to fear of inappropriate topics, and ends with speakers sticking to the ideas spread by our corporate alien controlled society. This is like living in Nazi Germany or the former Soviet Union. There you could say anything you want as long as it fit the government agenda, otherwise it meant incarceration in a prison or mental institution. At least they didn’t put Imus in jail here. If we’re not careful, this may be the next step in the enforcement of “political correctness.” Remember, that under current U.S. law, minor drug crimes and copyright violations sometimes incur larger prison sentences than murder. Maybe in the future, words like “ho” or the “n” word if used by white speakers could mean a mandatory minimum of ten years in a federal prison.
There appears to be some discrimination when it comes to what late night comedians say. NBC late night host, Jay Leno, recently compared Prince Charles’ wife Camilla Parker Bowles to a horse in the Kentucky Derby. It seems, that because Jay doesn’t like Camilla’s looks, he feels obligated to constantly use her as the object of his jokes. To me this is much more offensive than anything Imus said. Many of the sponsors of Imus’ radio show quickly canceled after being informed of his remark. Late night hosts working for all the networks are constantly hurling insults at many celebrities. Some, like the insults of Lady Camilla, are particularly demeaning. Where are the sponsors of Leno’s Tonight Show? Apparently, only jokes labeled as racial are considered disgusting enough to warrant any action.
Even though I don’t like some of Jay’s comments, I understand that’s what free speech is about. If the audience likes what they hear, they support the show, otherwise, the show’s ratings fall and it goes off the air. Free speech does include raunchy jokes. Why, then, are the raunchy jokes of Jay Leno much more tolerated than the raunchy jokes of Don Imus? Is this fair? In order to have true free speech we must be able to tolerate any comedian’s jokes no matter how despicable.
Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton are the corporate aliens assigned to spin the race card and make sure that “political correctness” prevails even as other injustices thrive. They want to make sure that the “white” race and the “black” race never blend into the “human” race by constantly reminding us of our individual skin color. They are the equivalent of “Free Speech Nazis.”

Foreclosures are on everybody’s mind these days because it’s posted all over the news and radio. The current economy and real estate market are struggling which creates one of the best opportunities for creating wealth. You really can buy homes for $1,000 these days. It may need some work, but you will always make money on four walls and a plot of land at that price. Real estate investing has changed and over a few articles, I plan on giving you some great information.
Foreclosures have three phases: Pre-foreclosure, Auction and REOs. First, let’s look at Pre-foreclosures. In the pre-foreclosure phase the owner is still in control. They are properly a few months behind on payments and the clocking is ticking for them to make a move to get out from under the debit before the bank forecloses on the home. A foreclosure on your credit is very devastating and makes for a motivate seller. A fundamental in investing is learning why the home is in this phase.
You have to be able to identify a problem before you can have a solution. You also need to identify if there is equity in the home. If there’s not, you probably won’t be able to help as equity creates price flexibility for the seller and opportunity for you. This phase is great because the banks aren’t involved at this point and allows for you to do some research into the condition of the home and hopefully get a great deal without the seller having to have the foreclosure on there record.
Auction phase is when the bank has taken control of the property and is, well, auctioning the home off. Investing in this phase is difficult and usually reserved for the more experienced due to financing, inspections and the attached liens on the property. More experienced investors can do more detailed research and get a good handle on their risks without the inspections and have more experience dealing with additional lien holders. My guess is that if you are reading this, you are probably a beginner and should not try to buy a home in this phase.
REOs, ahhh this is it. REOs are the homes that went to auction but didn’t sell. These properties have gone back to the bank and the other incumbencies have been removed. This is where you hear of people buying homes for $500 – $2,500. This is the banks last resort as they couldn’t get the home off their books at auction. At this stage, you can inspect the property and know what you are getting into. These homes will probably be in disrepair but with a little TLC you can make a huge profit quickly.
That’s it for now, but be on the look out because I will be showing you how to find these properties and explaining exist strategies for these investments. I planning on showing you that you really can make a fortune in real estate.

Is there really such a thing as free money for a business? Does the government provide grants to start a business or pay off debts? Well certain individuals who dress up in gaudy suits covered with question marks, you know who I’m talking about, would certainly have you believe it’s true. But it’s not.
The Small Business Administration, SBA, does not provide free money for businesses. They do however provide money for loans and that’s the catch. When clown guy says a certain high profile business was funded by the government, it means the company got an SBA loan, not a grant. According the the SBA there are no grants for commercial purposes. There is no such thing as free money for a business.
SBIR, or Small Business Innovation Research Grants, are awarded by the federal government for research and development in the private sector by independent companies who are not dominant in their industry. The person applying for the grant must work full time in the company receiving the grant. There are two phases. Phase I and Phase II, only those companies who have already received a Phase I grant are eligible for Phase II grants. Grant amounts range from $50,000 to $500,000 and are competitive. Very competitive.
There are also grants awarded by private foundations to nonprofit organizations. Most businesses are for profit, or at least trying to make a profit.
Can you find grants in the private sector that are awarded to businesses? Yes, but these are usually either very local, or very specific in how the money will be used, in what industry, and where. If you’re looking for a grant, try your local chamber of commerce, Small Business Development Center, SCORE office, or state development office. Just keep in mind the odds are a long shot.
There really isn’t such a thing as free money for businesses.

Why are some rebellions in history more acceptable than others? Or are they; are there still grudges over the civil rights movements, the foundation of the U.S constitution and other famous rebellions? Depending on the positive views that came out of the rebellions and how they conformed to society, some rebellions are more acceptable than others. Rebellions in history are a part of who we are today. The essay “Perils of Obedience” written by Stanley Milligram states, “some system of authority is a requirement of all communal living.” There will always be a correlation to obedience and rebellions in this world because it is a part of our history and lives.
It is not that people want to disobey and do wrong but, it defines to what we should do and to what is proper. For example, Marriane S. Maszak, author of the essay “The Abu Graib Prison Scandal: Sources of Sadism” states that authorization has a major part to do with how we act. If someone, our boss or manager tells us to do something, we do it. Most of us do not ask questions, it is clear that it has to be done, so we just obey. However, in order for anyone to follow orders, according to Maszak, “authority… needs to say that extreme measures are acceptable.” The American soldiers in the prison were told and shown by their leaders that what they were doing was not wrong; that it was not wrong to these acts. This state of obedience of authority was one of the answers that U.S soldiers gave when they were asked why they did such horrible things when they mistreated Iraqi soldiers. Some Americans that defend the actions of the soldiers back up their opinion by stating that the American soldiers were simply following orders. When people simply follow orders and the list of following orders go on and on, who should really be punished?
Individuals, when in a rebellion often state that they were following orders. When individuals follow orders, it is more difficult to find out who was the one doing harm. Everyone whether out of the U.S or in the U.S has received some type of orders throughout their lives and has had to obey them. A woman in an airplane stated that she was against all authority, in the article “Just Do What the Pilot Tells You,” by Theodore Dalrymple, she was not aware that a simple authority given to a pilot can change how a different situation is seen. Our life as a human being depends on authority and rebellion to exist. Sometimes, authority is given out blindly without even knowing. Dalrymple warns that “in this instance, {the pilot’s} authority was necessary.”Just because the woman in the plane officially did not go over to the pilot and gave her authority to him to fly that plane, that does not mean that he does not have authority to do his job. The authority given to the pilot was simply blind.
The history of the U.S is a perfect example of a rebellion. The book We The People , according to Duane E. Smith, states that “The delegates under the The Articles of Confederation were only given the power to only ratify the constitution.” However, the delegates refused to do what they were told and they gathered around to create a more powerful new form of government. When this new government was being formed, some delegates knew that this process of free thinking that was going into effect would benefit everyone and would also make America stronger. Other delegates, the anti federalists acted as the normal American that believed that what they were doing is wrong. Soon later, with pressure to authority, the opposing delegates followed the lead to defend the more powerful new government. This is how free thinking and rebellion made the American government a better unified country.
There have been many experiments that lead to state that authority is what makes people act obedient. The essay, “The Stanford Prison Experiment” written by Phillip Zimbardo is an experiment ran to imitate a make believe prison. Under this make believe prison, college students were hired to act like prison guards and prisoners. Zimbardo states, “that these normal, healthy, educated young men were so radically transformed under the institutional pressures of a prison environment.” The results of these experiments, like the experiment by Milligram state that under the pressure of order, the results of the experiments are hard to believe.
It is obvious that obedience and rebellions is what makes up our daily lives and history. Almost no one under obedience most of the time is out to harm anyone. The number one thing people under obedience are after is making their leader appreciative of them. Milligram states, “{People} often like the feeling they get from pleasing the {experimenter}.” In this case in life and society, some Americans just want to please their teacher, friend and or boss when they are under the role of being obedient. Individuals have to consider their personal ideals and consequences when they decide to rebel and or be obedient of something. Just because some rebellions are more acceptable than others and some are common in our society, that does not mean that starting a rebellion is the right thing to do. We as Americans are constantly dictated on how to act everyday and how not to act.

1.ISPConfig
So, this panel demand much time and efforts to be installed. In 5 cases out of 10 I was unlucky. I managed to install it only under Debian. It appears, that the developers made all those difficulties for purpose: to order the only paid service on their site: panel installation on your host. The rest is OK. The panel is very convenient, fulfils the task well. But! The panel is highly specialised. To alter in it something meas to go mad. It is very standard and can be used only for resellers creation, user profiles creating, editing of domains, etc. Forget about any hand-held editing of configs. The client interface is not less convenient and standard than the admin. panel: the same beautiful buttons, but of no use.
In short, do not waste your time, I think you will give up it in 20 min after you start with it.
2.VHCS
Installation is nonflexible enough: you should have those «demons» which are supported, and they are not of a big amount. Though it id not a problem: the developers promised to correct all in new versions. In the rest installation is simple.
The panel gives a very good impression. Certainly, it not such flexible as desired, but all the same it is functional enough. The interface as well as for the administrator, and for users with resellers is pleasant enough and convenient. With all versions ASPLinux works like clock-work. This panel could be recommended to the people who wish to be engaged in a hosting on a commercial basis and demand stable and qualitative solution.
3.Web:cp
The installer is absent. There is only a very poor manual on a site. System requirements in general terrific: it is necessary to put so many PHP units that this will take 2-3 days to be compiled. Also php-calendar unit is used which is notorious for its multifunction and instability. The interface is terrible, the panel is very inconvenient. Though, we should not be so demanding, the version is in the process of developing.
4. Cube Panel Lite
This is a free version of Cube panel. Though it resembles a demo version more. The installer is something, it is a .shar package. Design is quite good. The panel is very limited. It demands a lot of additional packages. This panel can service to 20 domains, if you want more you should buy the complete version.
5.GNU Hosting Panel
This is a complete complex for a hoster. The design is a little Gothic, but it is easy to correct. It is possible to build up a very serious service on this system basis. I liked its modular construction very much. You select what is necessary for you. But the panel again needs much developing.
6.WebMin + VirtualMin (VirtualMin)
Perhaps, this is the best solution. There is installation of two sorts: either rpm package or the installer from .tar.gz archive. The panel is magnificent in all aspects: it is easy for using, very flexible, the interface is pleasant, the quantity of customizations amazes. Thanks to WebMin it is possible to customize everything. With the help of VirtualMin unit, WebMin turns to the universal panel for hosting handling. For the user this panel is the paradise. The user can even control files by means of the built in file-manager. There is a web interface for mail, MySQL editor of databases. It is really difficult to find something better.

Neuro-nutrition gives us the answers.
This series of articles brings you right up to date with the ways to help your brain, boost your memory and avoid serious disintegration of the brain systems through diseases like Alzheimer’s. In this article we will look at a free source of memory power and discover that our old friends the Vitamins hold some turbo-charging characteristics.
Vitamin B6 is the best
Without this vitamin we suffer some very familiar ills. Being irritable, confused, tired out, depressed and unable to concentrate are all symptoms which can point to a deficiency in this nutrient. It also plays a big part in supporting the memory processes. Vitamin B6 is necessary to make the neurotransmitters such as serotonin (brings about a calm/OK feeling, dopamine (gives us an uplift) and adrenaline (energy boost). Without enough Vitamin B6 to help the serotonin to synthesize we can really drop down in mood so far we will become very depressed.
The older you get the more you need it. People in their seventies were given 20mg of Vit B6/day and they improved in every type of memory functioning; short term, long term and speed of retention. Interestingly middle aged people did even better on it and showed very marked signs of improvement in all their mental processes, including feeling better about themselves.
How much of it is good for you?
More than 50 milligrams/day and less than 200mg/day seem to work best though you always take advice from naturopaths or your doctor.
Where can you easily get it from?
Fruit and green vegetables are a good source and that fits really well with the ‘new’ Stone Age diet you should be eating if you really want to look after your brain.
Supplements in the form of tablets can be very helpful as they are easier for the stomach to digest as we get older. So if you want a boost eat more greens and also take some supplements. You should notice the difference to your mood and memory quite quickly.

We quite often need to remember chunks of text – perhaps we have to give a speech or are revising for a test. This can be a big challenge for many people, especially if you feel under pressure about the situation you have to do this for. However it is possible to learn to memorise text quickly and easily.
First you need to familiarize yourself with the text by reading it through – BUT – you have to do this as if you are reading it to someone else rather than reading it over quickly to yourself.
As you read it out to your imaginary friend think of questions you have about the bits you don’t understand so well. Write those questions down
Give yourself an instruction to remember certain parts of the information by telling yourself to do this and writing down a brief note of the part you are committing to memory.
Once you have become familiar with the text condense the notes you have made into one word phrases so that one word contains a lot of information. What is the key word for that ‘bunch’ of information? List these keywords.
Next take each word and form a vivid picture of each one
Lastly form those pictures into a story you will be able to run through in your mind quickly. Make it a short story and preferably a silly one too. So ludicrous that you will easily recall it because it makes you laugh. Remember too to put plenty of strong action in it which will make it dynamic in your brain and much easier to replay.
Another alternative is to do all of that up to the point of having keywords for your chunks of information and then peg these keywords to your Room List. Then a quick run through your Room List will immediately reactivate the keywords and they will quickly reactivate all the chunked information you are memorising. Then – voila! Job done.
Finally to help your short term memory here is a strange tip for you to do. Watch cartoons! Yep – that’s right. Sit down and get your fill of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck. Spend at least half an hour watching them and as you do this you will be super charging your imagination. As you know imagination is one of the key principles of memory improvement and things like seeing the silliness and exaggerated situations in cartoons will open the doors of your imagination and show you how you can turn situations into colourful, active, memorable pictures. Have fun!
