It’s nothing but a button with a link to add your site’s .xml file to an online or offline newsreader. Since nowadays most search engines and the Big Daddy – Google ™ is feeding on .xml it’s better to promote and submit your sites in .xml for easy and fast inclusion.

1. Google.com/Ig and Google.com/reader
Google.com/ig is the Google Homepage and Google.com/reader is Google’s online reader. Every SEO practitioners know that when your site is listed on Google you’re a successful one on your craft. Also to get listed on other RSS directory is a must as well as Google also judges your site based on number of links generated from other sites. The Google Homepage doesn’t need an account but the second one needs one so you need to be logged in on Google(tm) when doing so.
