The gay community has had its own share of ups and downs. And with the world now opening up and accepting them as who they are, it is indeed going to be a triumph for them. And this September, the gay community is going to be sure celebrating another big success for them.


Come the 2nd of September this year which would fall on a Saturday, the world better be headed out towards the very first Gay Motor Show. This is according to an announcement given out by TS Media. TS Media is the publisher of the TopGayer website. This first Gay Motor show would be known as the TopGayer Motor Show. It will be held at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff, Wales.


“We have been talking about the idea of holding a gay motor show since we launched TopGayer at last year’s Cardiff Mardi Gras. We sponsored last year’s Mardi Gras and had the Welsh launch of TopGayer at the event. The crowd’s response was amazing with everybody asking if we would be having a motor show, we said then that we would hold the world’s first Gay Motor Show in Cardiff as a big thank you to everyone at the event in Cardiff for all their support,” says Rich Tuckwell. Tuckwell is the co-founder of TS Media and he also works as the editor of TopGayer.com.


Tuckwell further explains that the world’s first gay motor show would be an open air event. And since it will be held just a few days part from the Mardi Gras, they are expecting to have a huge number of attendees. And with the gay motor show going to be a free event, there would indeed be quite a turnout of people taking part at the auto show. The show would also be offering not only vehicles but also other automotive stuff that would range from specialist body work to auto parts like Plymouth body parts to paint effect companies showing off their products and services. The group is even marketing the said motor show to be “good clean fun for all the family”.


And it also seems like the support from manufacturers is going to be great. Tuckwell further relays, “We spoke to all the manufacturers to get support for the event and the response was amazing, Mitsubishi and Chevrolet where the first to sign up within days of our email. Chevrolet has even donated a car which we’ll be giving away on the day as the star prize in our Text-2-Win contest. Land Rover really wanted to be at the show but unfortunately budget made it impossible, however their JV Like Dealership jumped at the chance to represent the brand. Toyota World and Cardiff Lexus were next to sign up, closely followed by Saab and Mazda, who’ll be bringing a new hard top convertible MX5 in bright pink.”

Many people are building their inner balance and happiness on one single pillar. This is a dangerous situation! What’s going to sustain them if for some reason the only pillar they rest upon collapses? There are six pillars that support your inner balance. If you want to live a life of inner calm and peace, don’t just lean on one or two pillars, but make sure to invest in all six of them. When you are resting on six pillars and one of them crumbles, there will be no need for drama. You can still support yourself with the other five pillars while you start repairing the one that broke down.

Compare it to a table. Which one will be the most solid one : the one with only one or the one with six legs? Do you think a table resting on only one leg will be stable? Would you dare to put you cup of coffee on it? How do you dare to put your whole life then on one and only pillar?

What are these six pillars that support inner balance? Here they are in random order:

1. Your intimate relationship. A warm, supportive, nourishing and loving relationship with that significant other, will substantially contribute to your inner balance and happiness. Be careful, however, not to bet all your money on this one pillar alone, while neglecting the others! If your happiness depends completely on your relationship, then you are taking a big risk: what will you do when your partner is gone? When that significant other leaves, dies, or loves somebody else, your entire life will collapse because you have nothing else to support you. Don’t link your happiness to just one person!
2. Your job. A meaningful job where you can express your talents is a valuable source of well being. However, what would happen if you put all of your time and energy in your job, and then some day your employer dismisses you? Your world will fall apart and you are headed for a serious depression. Does it feel like you are married to your job? It is too dangerous to entirely identify yourself with your job without paying attention to the other pillars. You are much more than your business card!
3. Your children. God knows it’s a wonderful gift to have children. I have four of them myself and every day I thank the Universe for choosing me as their mother. But what happens if you focus too much on your children? A parent who lives only for his children will suffocate them. He puts too much pressure on the child, which then feels obliged to live up to the parent’s expectations. The child may feel solely responsible for fulfilling the need for love and affection of the parent. This is a burden too heavy for any child to bear, and it jeopardizes the child’s free development and individuality. One day the children will leave to start their own life somewhere else. If your children are your only pillar of happiness, then your whole world will fall apart. What’s left is emptiness, depression, dependency, and trying to make the grown-up children feel guilty for not caring enough about their parents. Don’t take your kids hostage. They are entitled to a life of their own.
4. Your house and material possessions. Creating and enjoying a beautiful house brings a lot of pleasure into your life, but what are the dangers of making property your most important life goal? When it’s all about having, buying and possessing “stuff,” the only guarantee you have is that of dissatisfaction. You don’t know how much stuff you need to possess before you will find peace, and therefore you will never find it. There is no end to “having”. As long as you are convinced you need to have things in order to be happy, you will be restless and a slave of your own attitude. Being rich is okay, of course, but it should not be a goal in itself, otherwise you are doomed to be unhappy, always waiting until you possess another car, another house, more money, more stuff, … Not a good recipe for happiness!
5. Meditation. Meditation is good, you say! Of course it is! But what if all you do is meditate, and hope everything will be fine? You will get not much satisfaction or happiness that way. You will feel useless and restless. Your body needs action, and your energy needs a goal to strive for, so that it can flow through your veins and direct your life. Meditation only will get you nowhere. There’s more to life!
6. Your friends. Good friends are essential. They are the pepper and salt that give taste to life. They share your experiences and make them worth living. They give you feedback and back you up when you need help. But what if you need to share everything with them? They have their own life, their own experiences to live. Relying on friends for every single thing you do is a ticket for disaster. You need to be able to sometimes do things by yourself. If your friends leave you or break up with you, and they are everything your life is built upon, then your world will fall apart.


I think you are getting my point: every pillar is good and a valid source of energy and happiness, but it’s dangerous to rely too heavily on only one of them. Leaning on your relationship too much makes you dependent on the other. Identifying with your job too much transforms you into a workaholic. Chasing after material possessions makes you a materialist. Relying on your kids too much suffocates them. Thinking meditation will fulfil all your needs makes you an isolated stranger. Relying on your friends too much makes you a needy person, always turning to somebody else for rescue.

You will however find inner balance in the combination of all these aspects. Every one of them can be a source of happiness, as long as you enjoy each of them with moderation. Do you have kids? Wonderful! But don’t forget to also invest some time in your relationship, your work, your friends, your house and your inner silence.

You have a good job? Great, but do take time to play with your kids, to spend some romantic time with your partner, to go out and have fun with your friends, to take care of your house and to meditate.

You are a meditation freak? Don’t forget to clean the house, to help the kids with school, to do your job, to meet your friends and to listen to your partner when he comes back from work.

You invest a lot of time and energy in your house and other material possessions? Fine! Just don’t forget to spend some time with your children, your partner, your friends, enjoy your work and meditate!

You are committed to freedom and friends? Ok, no problem! Now balance your life by taking some time to experience the inner silence, to play with your kids (or somebody else’s), to invest in a particular loving relationship (even if it scares you), to take care of your house and possessions and to excel at your job.

You love someone and that person loves you back? Great! Now don’t forget about your friends, your job, your children (or someone else’s), your house and your inner silence, if you want this relationship to last!

Imagine a peace temple, built on six pillars. If your personal peace temple is supported by one pillar only, then surely the first tornado that comes along will bring it all down! Too dangerous!
The stability of your temple depends on the support of all six pillars. If one of the pillars is temporarily out of service, nothing catastrophic will happen because you still have the five other pillars to carry you on.
If you lose your job, but you still have five other solid pillars to hold you up, you will find the strength to find a new job. Your children are leaving the house? No panic! You still have five other pillars to support your temple! One of your friends has let you down? Your significant other has left you? You have to leave your house? You will be able to handle all of this, if you can revert to other pillars that continue to support you.

Don’t build your happiness on one pillar, but invest in the solid combination of all six of them. Everybody knows about the importance of a balanced diet, as well as the danger of an overdose! In the same way, your inner peace depends on your ability to find the right balance between the six pillars.

One thing I really must say at the outset of this article is, that if you were to ask the majority of men to define cellulite they would most probably be completely baffled.

Then after you explained it to them in detail and told them that you suffered from it, more likely than not the reaction would be to look at you as if you were slightly mad, shrug their shoulders and say that they had actually never noticed it.

So one consolation I suppose, is that most men apparently just do not see it and do not know what all the fuss is about! (They can be wonderful sometimes can’t they!)

From a womans point of view however, cellulite is at best something which restricts what she can or cannot wear, or at worst in extreme cases something which can be downright unsightly. If we are being brutally honest, dimples on our cheeks can be really cute, but dimples on our thighs and our buttocks most certainly are not.

It has been described as the dreaded “orange peel look” especially in relation to female thighs and buttocks. Many women can literally spend absolute fortunes to try and find ways to eliminate it!

Having established that it is a big problem (for the majority of women at least), I find myself coming back to the question in my title

Is it possible to be totally free of cellulite!

In truth I think sadly that as things stand at themoment probably not, but there are many many steps that can be taken to minimise the unsightly look of cellulite, and my intention in this article is to outline just a few of them.

It does really help if we try and understand some of the main causes of cellulite, and what if anything we can effectively do to both reduce the unsightly appearance (in our eyes at least), and even to try and banish it completely.

We should remember that the primary cause of cellulite is weight gain, and if a woman does gain excess weight the layers of fat under the skin expand, but sadly not in a smooth uniform way. We have the female hormone estrogen which promotes fat on the thighs and buttocks to thank for this!

When fat cells start to build up on the lower half of the female body, they are more likely to multiply and press against the skin. This process creates the bulged and dimpled look of the dreaded cellulite, and with very very few exceptions, it is completely a feminine problem.

Another important factor is that as we age our skin also tends to lose its tautness, particularly so if we do not take any forms of regular exercise.

So having now determined the main causes of cellulite,let us look in some detail at some of the choices available to us to try and minimize the effects of it.

The first choice is that you can learn to live with it!

Yes, I do actually mean that!

At the end of the day it is not going to detract from you as a woman, and there is no reason whatsoever why you cannot still be very attractive.

Do not let it become an obsession under any circumstances!

The second and for me personally, the most important choice available, is to make a seriously determined and long term effort to lose those unnecessary extra pounds. I strongly recommend a low fat diet as the first and vital step to take if you are to succeed in fighting this battle.

Make it a top priority to become much more active!

Simple changes such as walking more frequently, taking up a sport that you really could enjoy,(perhaps something you did in the past), or alternatively taking the time to join a few exercise classes, are just some examples of this.

Join those exercise classes which concentrate primarily on hips buttocks and thighs. This will greatly help in improving and toning up those areas affected by cellulite!

Your third choice is to try out some of the many creams that you can purchase. Use these with a deep massaging technique which will help improve the overall appearance of the cellulite areas.

The fourth and most drastic choice is liposuction which removes excess fat. Another such process is Endermologie, a mechanical massage that will smooth out the dimples.
These methods can be really expensive, so you will have to be prepared to dig deep for them.

Useful Quick Fix Tips To Disguise Cellulite.

Fake Tan – Apply the fake tan normally, but just before you are going to show your legs, rub a layer of hair serum (yes the stuff you use to stop frizz), along your shinbone.

This makes the thinner area of your shinbone much more prominent, and will therefore help to disguise those parts which are less firm in appearance.

Wear The Right Shoes – Heels or wedges will make your legs appear much longer, but beware of ankle straps and flat shoes. They really do make your legs look considerably shorter and fatter.

Take a tip from the celebrities. They wear heels with trousers and jeans, and have them made so that the trousers end about an inch below the ankle. The effect of this is to make their legs look really long and slim.

Draw The Eyes Upwards – If you are wearing your jeans on a night out for example, by either wearing a bulky necklace, a glittery scarf, or maybe even a Wonderbra and a V Necked top (if you are feeling slightly daring), you will distract attention away from your thighs.

Wear dark colors as they make your bottom parts look much slimmer.

Try out a Fast Fix Treatment – Treat yourself by going to a beauty salon, and indulge in one of their cellulite instant fix procedures. These can be very expensive but they really do make your thighs look smoother and sleeker.

Unfortunately though, these procedures only last for a short length of time.

ezines in it you will most probably be ‘scanning’ your
ezines instead of reading them. On the other hand a
controlled subscription list will give you enough time
to ‘Read & Reap’ instead of “Rush & Weep’ (There
is a lot more to ezines than just articles and ads. Look
carefully and you will find emerging trends you could
capitalise on, read the ads and you could very well be
looking into the minds of your target market. There is
a lot more than just articles and ads but that will need
another article altogether)




3. Stop making ‘mental notes’
When you come across valuable info STOP making
‘mental notes’ for later use, Later Rarely Comes!
We often find brilliant articles which we feel will make
a huge difference to our site or to our advertising maybe
and we make mental notes to apply this new info to our
online efforts, that is, just as soon as we finish going thru
the remaining messages in our inbox! And ever so often
we end up forgetting! Stop making ‘mental notes’ there
is a better way.




4. Stop saving articles, hints, tips for ‘later’
Quite often – while starting out especially – we create
neatly organised folders in folders in folders where we
save every article, hint, and tip we come upon. One
day – when time and stars are perfectly aligned – we
will apply all this advice to our online business and
shoot it off to the next level. One day, that is…till then
we collect more and the day never arrives!
Stop Collecting, Stop Just Saving!




To really profit from your article-reading try this:




Whenever you come upon an article which you feel
may help in refining some aspect of your online business,
send a silent thanks to the forces that be, then show your
gratitude – ACT – immediately!


+Copy and save the article in a ‘notepad’ file.
+Copy and save BUT do not close the file.


Now open whichever aspect of your business this article refers
to…Alt+Tab(windows) between the two and while reading the
article immediately apply it to your own efforts – correcting,
editing and making changes as you go along.




You will be surprised at the results! And Pleased Too!




If it is ad-copy, yours will change right before your eyes.
If it is headline-copy, yours could morph into that ‘hypnotic’
spell that simply grabs your viewers eyes. Maybe you could
finally understand what triggers are needed and where they
should feature on your site for people to buy stuff from you.

Instead of copying to notepad it could be easier and faster
to toggle directly between the ezine where the article is and
your efforts and apply useful suggestions instantly. I prefer
notepad for it is extremely easy and quick to copy, save,
and open again later when needed. Besides, its stark black
and white format with no toolbars etc helps the mind in
staying focused on the task at hand and this gets the job
done as quickly as possible. And efficiently too!




Now all those helpful articles which normally would
be scanned and most probably canned, are…
Saved, Read, Applied!




Take a bigger step forward – Take a print-out:
Hard-copy allows you to read the article in different places
and from more ‘angles’ than is possible on your desk-top or
lap-top. This is important for inspiration has absolutely no
regard for time, place, or position. Keep a pencil or pen
at hand to jot down its fleeting caresses.




Speaking for myself I have realised that this approach
has inadvertently tackled one of my biggest obstacles -
Procrastination. It could do the same for you too.
